We believe that stable housing is the foundation for thriving individuals and resilient communities. Our commitment to community and affordable housing is rooted in a deep understanding of the social and economic challenges facing Australians today, and a belief that housing is essential infrastructure—not a privilege.

We deliver secure and affordable rental homes through strategic partnerships with government, investors, and developers. Our impact is measured not only in the number of homes delivered, but in the lives transformed through safe, stable, and inclusive housing environments.

Changing Lives - Our Resident Stories

“I have lived in my Mount Waverley apartment for 4 months. Before this I was in hospital for 6 months after being in ICU for 4 days due to my health. Before this I was in North Melbourne and could not live there due to my health. I was offered this opportunity to move into Mount Waverley apartments. In that time, I have experienced real life changes, my health has improved, and I have regained my freedom, and this has empowered me to be independent. This may sound clinical, no apologies – it’s the truth.”

Dunlop Avenue is a mixed tenure site with NAH managing the Affordable housing and Evolve Housing managing the Community housing, where Urban Art Australia were engaged to attend the community gardens at Dunlop Ave, Ascot Vale to inspire the residents paint a beautiful mural. All residents were engaged to come and participate in the event. With their involvement a vibrant and meaningful mural was created that reflects the beauty and spirit of the community.

“As I mark my one-year anniversary at Mount Waverley apartments, I want to express my deep gratitude. In January 2024, I faced a crisis—my NRAS lease was ending, and the threat of homelessness weighed heavily on my mental health. By chance, I found a brochure for Mount Waverley and reached out. Housing Services Victoria responded with compassion and gave me a fair go. Their support has made this place feel like home. Stable housing has been vital to my recovery. I’ve continued my studies at Holmesglen and made progress in both mental health and wellbeing. I feel truly blessed and thankful for the care and dedication of the team here. Thank you for all that you do”

"I was a single person transitioning from a Correctional Facility via Community Residential Facility and grateful to have a place to call "My Home".  This has given me the opportunity to rebuild and reconnect with my family and friends and also make new connections in the community as opposed to living in a shared environment with restrictions on visitors and activity.  I am now rebuilding confidence with being more independent and integrating back into society."

Small Gestures - Meaningful Impact

Intermittently we are able to provide households facing a range of challenges including financial hardship, rising cost of living, health concerns, limited family support and significant life transitions gift vouchers to assist them.

From one of the recipients
“Your gift card – and your generosity – made me feel seen. Not like a number. Not like a file. Not like a “case.” But like a person. A mum. Someone who matters.”

A gentleman who had experienced an incredibly difficult and unexpected change in his circumstances. On Christmas Eve, he was asked to leave the home he shared with his partner, leaving him with nowhere to go. He spent both Christmas and New Year alone, living out of his car. When we first spoke with him, he was desperately searching for housing. He was looking at properties hours away from his community and even interstate believing he could no longer afford to live anywhere close to home. This was the first time in his adult life that he had been completely on his own, and the experience was overwhelming and deeply isolating. Within the same week he was offered a vacant single‑person duplex in his local area. When we met at his home to hand over the keys, he was visibly relieved and incredibly grateful. He shared that he had begun to feel as though the world was against him, but the offer of a home and the care and respect he experienced throughout the application process reminded him that he was not alone.
